Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice asked us to support their Forget Me Not campaign and choose eight Blue Plaque recipients for a twitter poll to decide who is the Greatest Brummie. The winner, with over 60% of the public vote, was George Cadbury and a flower dedicated to him was presented by Derek Spinks, the Hospice’s Senior Individual Giving and Legacy Manager to Trustees Amelia and Christine who gave it pride of place at the centre of their art installation in Brindleyplace earlier this month.

You can read more about George Cadbury on the Bournville Village Council’s website and if you would like to dedicate a forget-me-not flower to your own loved ones lost, there is still time and you can do so here.
