We would like to wish Birmingham’s Victorian Society a very happy 50th anniversary. The Birmingham and West Midlands Group held its inaugural meeting on 19 January 1967 at the Museum and Art Gallery. Civic Society Trustee Stephen Hartland has chaired the Victorian Society since 2009 and you can read about the background to its foundation here.
