Our tour of some of the city’s Conservation Areas was informative, great fun and exciting! Thanks to a spot of hasty re-planning of the route by our guide, Ian Jelf, after learning that the Big Brum Buz was out of action, and some impressive manoeuvres by our driver, who didn’t know the route, or the coach, around some very tight corners, in the rain, and in the rush hour traffic! Ian took us around some less well-known Conservation Areas, showing us good and bad examples, before finally pulling up at The Gunmakers’ Arms for well-deserved pint of Civic Pride.
