Thanks to Nick Reed, Chief Executive of THSH, and his excellent team for kindly hosting our Spring Reception this year. After drinks in the foyer, including our very own Civic Pride, we took the orchestra’s place on stage to hear from our Chairman, Gavin, highlighting some of our many centenary year events, followed by Casey Bailey performing his poem ‘Blue Plaque’ celebrating The City Beautiful 100. Then it was the turn of Nick to tell us about their exciting plans for the development of a new foyer and visitor spaces to truly complement one of the finest concert halls in the world.
