This year’s St Basils Challenge charity walk takes place on Saturday 18 June in Rutland, Leicestershire, 1½ hours’ drive from the city centre. Although this year’s Challenge course is probably amongst the easier of recent years, rolling rather than mountainous, it’s a cracking route through some fantastic unsung scenery and still a goodly challenge.
